October is Women’s History Month!

From their work as health care providers and researchers, teachers and scientists, members of the armed forces and law enforcement, journalists and athletes, care and support work inside and outside the home, women have made – and continue to make – a lasting impact in our society. This month, as we celebrate the women in our communities and lives who inspire us every day, let’s also work together to break down the systemic barriers, exacerbated by the pandemic, that compromise their health, safety, work and ability to participate fully and freely in society.
