PROVINCE OF MANITOBA INVESTS IN INFORMATION SYSTEM TO ENHANCE SERVICES AT FAMILY VIOLENCE SHELTERS
MAWS is pleased to be working with FVPP and End Homelessness Winnipeg on HIFIS implementation for the ten provincially funded Family Violence (FV) shelters in Manitoba. The shelters are excited to use this new software. With HIFIS, FV shelters will optimize their services to vulnerable Manitobans seeking refuge from violence through its robust, real-time data collection, which will help with client intake, assessment, referrals and case management. We look forward to increased communication, collaboration and better data management, not just between the 10 FV shelters, but also with client-centric service providers from other sectors. We thank End Homelessness Winnipeg, the Government of Manitoba, FVPP, and Minister Cathy Cox for their work on this important initiative!
