December 6th marks the 30-year anniversary of the Montreal Massacre. On this date in 1989, 14 women were gunned down at École Polytechnique solely because they were women. This December 6th, we remember and honour these women, the Manitoba women who have been killed by violence over the past year, and the more than 1000 missing and murdered Aboriginal women throughout Canada.
